As part of our commitment to increasing the sustainability of our business practices,
we have had our overall greenhouse gas impact assessed by the Carbon Reduction Institute.
Geelong Fireworks have positioned themselves as a climate policy leader within the industry and community as leaders in the fight against climate change and have become part of the growing "low carbon economy".
Whilst many companies may claim they are offsetting their Carbon footprint, or are working "towards" a more environmentally "better business" for the purposes of marketing, Geelong Fireworks reports quarterly to the CRI with regard to its major (and dynamic) emissions sources and surrenders its purchased carbon credits to offset its CO2 emissions. The entire process is monitored and audited by the CRI - showing that we are genuine in what we do.
We will also provide our customers with a certificate informing them that the fireworks display for their function is carbon neutral, and this is at no cost/premium to our clients.
