STANDARD DELIVERY TIMES (Business days) Our couriers advise delivery to most East Coast major cities is 3-4 days. Country areas in most states including Victoria allows 3- 5 days. Perth minimum 10 – 14 days. Melbourne 2-3 days. Geelong 1- 2 days. These times are from when your order leaves us. Orders normally leave us within 2 BUSINESS DAYS. Orders are not sent or delivered on weekends or holidays.
Estimated delivery time must NOT be considered as a guarantee of delivery. Due to the nature of our products they must go by road transport and Express is not available.
PICK UP is not available. Due to our systems, safety and stock control procedures and insurance requirements, we DO NOT allow for order pick-up under any circumstances, this includes your courier service
PLEASE order early for your event. We endeavour to get your order to you as soon as possible. Delivery times are estimates and commence from the date of shipment, rather than the date of order. Delivery times are to be used as a guide only. Weather delays and other unforeseen circumstances may impact delivery time. As per ACCC Guarantees: “You are not entitled to claim against a seller where the failure to meet a consumer guarantee is due to….an event that was beyond the sellers control (for example bad weather or delays in delivery”
You will receive your tracking information via email, direct from our Couriers. If you do not receive an email within 48 hrs of placing your order please check your JUNK MAIL and if you have no tracking email please contact us via EMAIL
SHIPPING AND HANDLING CHARGES Metro and Inner Regional areas of Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia, Tasmania, Perth and outer Suburbs: $15.00 (Orders over $150.00 are freight free). Outer Regional and Remote areas of NSW, QLD, SA, TAS, WA $25-$35.00 and all NT : $35.00 No free freight to those areas. Country/Remote areas may be subject to on-forwarding courier services. Your freight charge is automatically calculated at checkout.
DELIVERY OPTIONS At check out your have 3 options for delivery of your parcel:
AUTHORITY TO LEAVE (ATL) As part of this service, the courier will leave the parcel in a safe place at the delivery address if available. If unable to leave in a safe place, the parcel will be directed to the nearest Parcel Connect agent or back to the local depot. The receiver will be notified via the tracking page. You agree that the parcel is deemed received when left at your premises as shown by the delivery courier’s tracking.
STANDARD For Standard deliveries, couriers will obtain a signature from the receiver when possible. If the receiver is unavailable they will leave the parcel in a safe place at the delivery address if available. If unable to leave in a safe place, the parcel will be directed to the nearest Parcel Connect agent or back to the local depot. The receiver will be notified via the tracking page.
SIGNATURE Our Signature delivery service requires our couriers to obtain a signature from the receiver. If that’s not possible, the parcel will be redirected to the nearest Parcel Connect agent. The customer will be notified where to collect their item from by SMS or email. (Please note, couriers have a contact-free delivery protocol in place for all Signature service deliveries during COVID-19)
ONLINE ORDERING ONLY We are unable to process phone orders. You will receive an email with a tracking number via our courier partners. By ordering online you can ensure all your delivery details etc are correct. We do not accept Purchase Orders from companies/schools etc. Please use your school/company credit card. However, please contact us if you have any questions about products you wish to order.
DAMAGES We promise your parcel will leave the warehouse in pristine condition but because we use third party couriers, we can’t 100% guarantee nothing will go awry during transit. We know that nobody wants a parcel that looks like it was regurgitated onto their doorstep by Godzilla, so if there is any damage please take a photo/video of the item (in the package IF possible) and EMAIL us. We will dispatch a replacement or provide you with a credit for future use.
MISSING OR LOST PACKAGE It is the responsibility of the customer to inform Geelong Fireworks if an order has not been delivered, as we are yet to perfect the art of ESP. When notified we will investigate straight away and ensure that your order is delivered and received. There are several reasons why a package gets lost or becomes a deliver exception. We’ve found that, more often than not, the package is either in the building or with a neighbour. Geelong Fireworks politely requests that customers look in common courier hiding spots. Please take a look around and let us know if you find it. If you haven’t located your order, please EMAIL us to report missing or lost packages.
UNSUCCESSFUL DELIVERY Submitting an order online is making a contract to purchase those items. . If after multiple attempts the courier has been unable to complete delivery to you and is returned to us, you have the option of having your order reshipped after paying the freight charge again, or we will refund the original order amount, less the initial shipping charge plus $20.00 or 15% of order value, whichever is greater, restocking fee. Refused delivery – Goods will be abandoned, with no refund.
Change of mind – no refund. We will replace faulty merchandise (as long as product has not been tampered with or abused) with the same product but we do not offer cash or credit refunds.
Magic Tricks, Flash Products. Illusions. Like any other providers of tricks/props in the world, there are no refunds. Please be careful in choosing your item, as the value of any magic effect lies with its working and secret.
Sparklers, Smoke Emitters, Flash Paper Products, Confetti Cannons. Due to the nature of these products we need to insure the integrity of the product, ie. not kept in damp conditions, crushed etc. We are sure you would not like to buy a less than perfect product. Confetti Cannons take a bit of effort to twist the tube.
CD’s, DVD’s, Books and Downloadable products. No refunds as these can be easily copied. Faulty DVD’s will be replaced on receipt of faulty disc in cover etc. with the SAME DVD.
Actor Cigarettes, Cigars etc Which possibly could have been used in the mouth, even if in original wrapping – no returns.
Air Squib Systems Sorry, but ensure they are right for the job ….talk to us…and practise. Hundreds have been sold world wide. We have had these used in films etc, returned as “no good” then seen them work perfectly in the final production! They have been used worldwide in major productions.
