Ordering Information, Delivery, Terms & Conditions.

We do not ship any items overseas.



PLACING an order ON TUESDAY or FRIDAY will see it ship on the next scheduled shipping  day.  Cut off time is 4.00 pm Monday for Tuesday shipping and 4.00 pm Thursday  for Friday shipping.

This INCLUDES EXPRESS SHIPPING.  Express shipping is the service offered for delivery once your order is handed over to the courier on either Tuesday or Friday.  We are unable to accommodate please ship today etc. 

We do not ship to PO BOXES, PARCEL COLLECT etc.

PICK UP is not available under any circumstances. 

Due to our systems, safety and stock control procedures and insurance requirements, we DO NOT allow for order pick-up under any circumstances, this includes your courier service

The following items cannot be sent express under any circumstances:  FLASH PAPER ETC, ALL TYPES OF CANNONS (gender reveal, colour powder etc). FOG IN A CAN. Please do not ask them to be sent Express at check out. They WILL be shipped by normal road courier.  

You may experience pick-up and delivery delays due to staff shortages, record online shopping, and high demand for parcel delivery. We thank you for your patience and ask that you be kind to your delivery driver.

SHIPPING AND HANDLING CHARGES & ORDER TRACKING  Your freight charge is automatically calculated at checkout. Flat Rate from $15.00, Express Rate from $25.00.    You will receive tracking information direct from our courier partners.  For exceptionally heavy and bulky orders, extra freight charges may apply. We will contact you to advise of these charges. 

FLAT RATE DELIVERY TIMES (Business days)    Our couriers advise delivery to most East Coast major cities is 3-4 days.  Country areas in most states including Victoria allows 3- 5 days.  Geelong 1-2 days, Melbourne 2-3 days, Tasmania 3-5 days,  Perth minimum 10 – 14 days. Northern Territory 2-3 weeks.  These times are from when your order leaves us.  Orders are not sent or delivered on weekends or holidays.

Delivery times can be extended due to conditions outside of our and the couriers control: covid restrictions, bad weather – floods etc, general high demand for couriers due to online shopping.

EXPRESS DELIVERY TIMES are generally half of flat rate delivery.  

You will receive your tracking information via email, direct from our Couriers. If  you do not receive an email within 2  business days  AFTER  the expected  shipping date,  please check your JUNK MAIL and if you have no tracking email  please contact us via EMAIL



AUTHORITY TO LEAVE (ATL)  As part of this service, the courier will leave the parcel in a safe place at the delivery address if available. If unable to leave in a safe place, the parcel will be directed to the nearest Parcel Connect agent or back to the local depot. You will be notified via the tracking page.  You agree that the parcel is deemed received when left at your premises as shown by the delivery courier’s tracking and indemnify Geelong Fireworks and its couriers against any claim for loss and / or damage relating to any freight item so left.

STANDARD For Standard deliveries, couriers will obtain a signature from the receiver when possible. If you are not available they will leave the parcel in a safe place at the delivery address if possible. If unable to leave in a safe place, the parcel will be directed to the nearest Parcel Connect agent or back to the local depot. You will be notified via the tracking page.

SIGNATURE  Our Signature delivery service requires our couriers to obtain a signature from the receiver. If that’s not possible, the parcel will be redirected to the nearest Parcel Connect agent. You will be notified where to collect your item from by SMS or email.  (Please note, couriers have a contact-free delivery protocol in place for all Signature service deliveries during COVID-19)


EXPRESS ATL  Follows the same  ATL delivery protocols as above. Please note not all items can ship Express and these are listed on this page, and on the product pages.

EXPRESS SIGNATURE  Our Express Signature delivery service requires our couriers to obtain a signature from the receiver. If this is not possible the driver leaves a ‘Sorry We Missed You’ card at your front door or in your letterbox, with details on how you can collect your item. The item should be available for collection next business day from the details left on the card.

ONLINE ORDERING ONLY  We are unable to process phone orders. You will receive an email with a tracking number via our courier partners. By ordering online you can ensure all your delivery details etc are correct. We do not accept Purchase Orders from companies/schools etc. Please use your school/company credit card.  However, please contact us if you have any questions about products you wish to order.

DAMAGES  We promise your parcel will leave the warehouse in pristine condition but because we use third party couriers, we can’t 100% guarantee nothing will go awry during transit. So if there is any damage please take a photo/video of the item in the package ! (we are unable to process a claim if the package is not included in the photo)   and EMAIL us.  We will then contact you to sort out this issue.

LATE, MISSING OR LOST PACKAGE It is the responsibility of the customer to inform Geelong Fireworks if an order has not been delivered within the delivery time above. When notified we will investigate straight away. Trouble finding your parcel? We find that in most cases the parcel is actually on the property in a safe, concealed location, left with a neighbour or accepted by a colleague.   If you haven’t located your order, please EMAIL us to report missing or lost packages. 

UNSUCCESSFUL DELIVERY  Submitting an order online is making a contract to purchase those items.. If after multiple attempts the courier has been unable to complete delivery to you and is returned to us, you have the option of having your order reshipped after paying the freight charge again, or we will refund the original order amount, less the initial shipping charge plus  $20.00 or 15% of order value, whichever is greater, restocking fee.   Refused delivery – Goods will be abandoned, with no refund.

This policy is in line with and according to Australian consumer law and reviewed annually or as the legislation changes to ensure accuracy

Please note: Under ACCC Consumer Guarantees, “you are not entitled to claim against a seller where the failure to meet a consumer guarantee is due to:  an event that was beyond the seller’s control (for example bad weather or delays in delivery)”
