NOTE REGARDING COVID 19 FROM OUR COURIER PARTNERS
“We will be processing all deliveries as an ATL (Authority to Leave) transaction. This means the parcel will be left in a safe place at the delivery address, and a photo will be taken of the item at the door. If the courier cannot deliver the package to a safe place, they will leave a calling card with further instructions to arrange redelivery. As a result of the current situation, we are experiencing higher than normal delivery volumes. We are scaling up and redeploying resources wherever possible, however the coronavirus situation is placing unprecedented demand on our Regional Franchisees. Please be patient as we do our best to respond quickly.”
CAN I COLLECT MY ORDER AFTER PAYING?
Due to our systems, safety and stock control procedures and insurance requirements we DO NOT allow for order pick-up under any circumstances, this includes your courier service.
WE DO NOT SHIP EXPRESS / OVERNIGHT / URGENT under any circumstances. Order early before your event.
MINIMUM TOTAL ORDER VALUE IS $20.00 excluding shipping.
ONLINE ORDERING ONLY
We are unable to process phone orders. You will receive an email with a tracking number via our courier partners. Plus by ordering online you can ensure all your delivery details etc are correct. We do not accept Purchase Orders from companies/schools etc. Please use your school / company credit card.
However, please contact us if you have any questions about products you wish to order.
We will normally dispatch your order within 48 hrs excluding holidays and weekends. This time may be extended during peak periods. Orders ship VIA COURIER. We DO NOT SHIP to PO Boxes & Parcel Collect/Lockers etc. Please supply suitable daytime street address where a signature upon delivery can be obtained. If you will be unavailable during business hours, please consider having your order sent to a work address, neighbour or relative. If you are not home to receive your order and have not requested Authority to Leave (ATL), the courier will leave a card (please also check your letterbox for card), to arrange re-delivery.
Are approximate from when your order is picked up: Geelong, Melbourne and Suburbs, Adelaide 2-3 days. Sydney, Central Coast 2-3 days. Tasmania, Brisbane, Newcastle 3-4 days. Most other SA, NSW, QLD 3-4 days apart from remote areas. Perth: 7-10 days. Remote: 7-14 days.
SHIPPING AND HANDLING (S&H):
Australia Wide (*See exclusions below) $15.00
Excludes NT, outside Perth and suburbs in WA, remote country areas and outback areas. S&H to these areas may incur extra fees. We will notify you and you may choose to pay the extra or cancel your order. For these areas you can email [email protected] to get a quote – please advise delivery Suburb AND Postcode.
Authority to Leave Terms and Conditions
By requesting Authority to Leave (ATL) at the checkout page on the website, the courier will leave your parcel at your unattended premises in accordance with your instructions.
You agree that the parcel is deemed received when left at your premises as shown by delivery agents tracking.
Geelong Fireworks and couriers associated with the delivery, do not accept responsibility for any loss or damage which results from this Authority to Leave delivery method. You agree to release Geelong Fireworks from and against any and all claims, demands, liabilities, losses, costs and expenses, including financial and other consequential losses, made, suffered or incurred by you or any other person or entity as a result of this Authority to Leave.
If you do not give Geelong Fireworks Authority to Leave, you will have to be at your premises in order for the delivery to occur.
Once a shipment leaves us it is in the hands of the shipping company. Very occasionally, and sometimes out of the control of anyone, shipments may get delayed. Geelong Fireworks accepts no responsibility for these delays and the impact they may have. We are always happy to assist you in finding out when your shipment will arrive, though you understand that once a parcel leaves us it is out of our control.
If a parcel is lost in transit we cannot give a refund or replacement of product until a full investigation is done with the freight company which can take up to 4 weeks from time we are notified your goods have not been received. You may place another order, and if the courier company is found at fault we will refund the original order cost plus freight.
Cancelled Orders & Returning Merchandise
Submitting an order online is making a contract to purchase those items, if you choose to cancel your order after it has gone to processing a $25.00 or 25% of order value, which is greater, restocking fee will be charged plus any shipping fees if we are unable to cancel. Orders can be processed within minutes of ordering. Should you refuse an order on delivery the same applies. If goods are damaged on return, the damaged items cost will not be refunded.
THE FOLLOWING ITEMS ARE NOT RETURNABLE, if this is not acceptable to you, please do not order.
All magic/flash props are NOT returnable under any circumstances. Please read purchase guidelines on the appropriate web pages. To clarify again: FIRE PRODUCTS/MAGIC/ILLUSIONS: FOR THE ITEMS BELOW, like any other providers of tricks/props in the world, there are no refunds. Please be careful in choosing your item, as the value of any magic effects lies within it’s working and secret. We will replace faulty merchandise (as long as product has not been tampered with or abused) with the same product but we cannot offer cash or credit refunds.
Colour Smoke, Sparklers, Flash Paper products are NOT returnable under any circumstances. Due to the nature of these products we need to insure the integrity of the product, ie. not kept in damp conditions, crushed etc. We are sure you would not like to buy a less than perfect product.
Actor cigarettes/cigars etc which possibly could have been used in mouth, even if in original wrapping.
Air Squib Systems Sorry, but ensure they are right for the job ….talk to us…and practice. We have had these used in films etc, returned as “no good” then seen them work perfectly in the final production! They have been used worldwide in major productions..
CD’s, DVD’s and Books as these can be easily copied. Faulty DVD’s will be replaced on receipt of faulty disc in cover etc. with the SAME DVD.
Confetti Cannons – these are individually produced to order, and we are unable to “test” they are still in working order if they were returned. Returns are not possible.
